Talking Flowers

Talking Flowers is a project from Malmö based artist Astrid Lagerstedt. Releasing her first single Talking Flowers in 2021 she is now back with double single Storytelling, released on March 21st 2023 on Rama Lama Records.

Astrid creates 60’s tinged psychedelic, dark and haunting soundscapes topped with futuristic synths combining in equally playful and terrifying melodies. The listener is invited to a Twin Peaks-esque world that is both frightening and alluring at the same time. The world of Talking Flowers is a world one often wishes that the real one would be a bit more like, a world of mystery and excitement and a lot less grey and beige colours.

Storytelling is recorded in the legendary Tambourine Studios (Franz Ferdinand, bob hund, The Cardigans etc.) and produced by Joar Sylvan.
