TV People, comprising Paul Donohoe and Brendan Clarke, are a duo that create their dark and gritty sound from a fusion of alt-rock and post-punk influences. Since forming, they have showcased their talent in venues throughout the UK & Ireland, including Whelans, The Button Factory, The Windmill Brixton, The Old Blue Last and Mike The Pies.
With their introspective, moody, and existential songwriting, they have received widespread acclaim from leading magazines, blogs, radio shows, curators and their ever-growing fanbase. In pursuing their aim of challenging outdated stereotypes and normalising discussion of difficult topics, the band creates art that explores themes such as mental illness, addiction, grief and the pervading uncertainty facing many of their generation.
TV People relocated to London in 2023, carrying the momentum generated by the release of their debut EP 'Nothing More', a showcase performance at Ireland Music Week and a sold out headline show in The Workmans.
Since moving, TV People have been relentlessly writing and performing in venues across London. Their recent singles 'Die Down', 'Rain', and 'Fade' received features on Spotify's 'Hot New Bands', 'All New Punk', 'melomania', 'shockwave', and 'Fresh Finds UK & IE' editorial playlists, with 'Die Down' having also been featured on E4's Made in Chelsea season finale.
With a growing stockpile of material and plans for their biggest UK & Ireland tour to date, TV People are gearing up for their breakout year.
