ABOUT THIS ARTIST

Sun Picture is the instrumental home studio project of Venezuelan-American musician Carlos Lowenstein.

The most recent Sun Picture release, So many little rooms, was originally released with Katuktu Collective's charity imprint A Red Thread. NPR's All Songs Considered writer Lars Gotrich described it as "Cluster's modular synth paradise, but through the lens of '70s spiritual jazz, library music and a dubby splash of psychedelic cumbia."

Lowenstein lives in Chicago, making music out of his Logan Square basement.
