This Midlands four-piece cite Carl Sagan, Bill Evans and YouTube algorithms as key influences and create a sound taking equal cues from crate digging jazz, hip-hop and garage rock. It’s an unabashed sense of anthemia that sets Spoort apart, with songs that comprise almost entirely of hooks: from weaving modal ear-worms to all-out terrace fodder. Their self-titled debut EP released on the 29th May and features singles 'FLYY' and 'Self'.
