Sondar

Sondar is an angry shoegaze noise rock band formed in 2020, founded in Mulubinba/Newcastle with the intention to marry abrasive sound with ethereal melody. Influenced by bands such as Boris, my bloody valentine, Slint and notably early SPIRIT OF THE BEEHIVE, Sondar’s sound can be interpreted as surreal yet frantic. A cyclic nature which is complimented by latent introspection, carefully compartmentalized between walls of either harsh or dizzy guitar and synth work, supported by nimble-witted, lancinating drums and unsparingly fuzzy and bellowing bass.

Sondar's debut S/T will be set to release this winter.
