Artist, performer, sonic landscaper, filmmaker, dancer, mainly unconscious, muito acordado, muito faminto, muito fogoso, heavy rain is gonna fall, do not be mean. Jung was on the way to Schaffhausen. Yes, I saw how the king of Spain was murdered. Godspeed.
"With En allégeance à l'inconnaissable - Une étude en chorégraphie pour le flux d'énergie, Sol presents an album with a complex mixture of tones and structures, striking a close relation between a sort of devotional music and a trancelike state. Beyond his own specific exploration of the possibilities of electronic modular synthesis, Sol searches for hacks in different states of consciousness by way of sound." UMOR REX
"For Janus (Sol´s debut album) the olympic spirits of New wave, Kraut rock beats, the plausible nonsense of No wave, Californian psychedelia, the electronics of modular synthesizers, the colors of rural Mexican life, thresholds in general, and overall the intimacy with oneself were some of the subjects that inspired." HAPPY-fi
For his debut on stage at FESTIVAL NRMAL 2018, Sol released an adventure titled “The Hills”, with a video by conceptual artist Mario García Torres (with whom he recurrently collaborates) . The video addresses innovative polish dramaturge Jerzy Grotowski’s methods. In a psychedelic manner, the video consists of Jaime Soriano (Grotowski’s Mexican colleague) channeling cathartic dance movements to the song.
