ABOUT THIS BAND

With a new lineup comprised of frequent collaborators Chris McCauley, Abby Anderson, and Stuart Norman, Slack Times began writing new material in 2023. Now a traditional trio, the band focused on creating jangly pop songs reminiscent of early Flying Nun and K Records. They recorded an EP titled Gone Things at Ol Elegante studios in Birmingham, AL with the help of their friends Les Nuby and Seth Brown. Meritorio Records will release Gone Things as its first ever cassette release on October 18th 2024.
