ABOUT THIS BAND

As a stable fixture in the Los Angeles underground, Sextile have been gaining a devout following since their inception in 2015. The band boldly throw convention out of the window to create and genre-bending imprint that combines the raw energy of 70’s punk with the intricate and sophisticated structural elements of 80’s post-punk and synth-wave. Presently, elements of industrial and EBM have started to seep into their sound.

After a slew of lineup changes over the years, Sextile consist of original members Brady Keehn and Melissa Scaduto in the studio, adding various friends/bandmates for the live show. There is a new EP, titled 3, on September 14, 2018 that was recorded in Los Angeles at their home and practice space in May 2018 using a KORG MS-10, a sequencer, a Fender Stratocaster, a LinnDrum and various percussion instruments.
