Manchester-born, London-formed Porij, a band who on a superficial surface level appear as an indie band but are still not afraid to fall into the charms of dance music, are a very exciting proposition.
They have felt sharp growing pains over the years, the agony of change (two band members leaving in 2022 and roping in two university friends with a moment’s notice) and the ever-growing challenge of finding their feet since their 2020 breakthrough EP Breakfast. But with their debut album Teething, they dance with a particular magic.
