Poppy Wizard

Originally started as a creative two-piece experiment during the COVID-19 pandemic, Poppy Wizard has evolved into a band project driven by the shared passion of four longtime friends. Their music is a mix of powerful, melodic and danceable songs that captivates the audience. Inspired by life's various addictions, their sound oscillates between heavy, dreamy and wavy textures that will delight fans of modern fuzz rock and grungegaze.

The release of their debut EP “Holy Spirit Gang” in August 2024 triggered an echo in the scene and even aroused the interest of national public radio stations such as WDR 1LIVE, Dlf Kultur or rbb Fritz.

Following on from this success, Poppy Wizard will share their new single “Maze” at the beginning of December, which fuses 90s grunge with 2010s alt rock and dives deep into the relatable struggle of being trapped in overthinking.
