A dissonant, yet cohesive, pentad of abrasive tonality. Pomona are a 5-piece collective of UK music scenes, an amalgamation of personality and genre, achieving harmony within Manchester. Musically resembling the inconsistencies of life, thriving in both the moments of beauty, and moments of dejection. Sub-bass lines, lyrics dripping of catharsis, intricate drum beats, and cut-throat guitar riffs, Pomona are a bohemian of sound. Described by RGM magazine as having 'upbeat rhythms and unique lyrics with a fresh sound' (https://rgm.press/pomona-live-in-manchester-what-happened/review/), the band recently headlined a nearly sold out gig at YES basement in Manchester. Heavily influenced by the likes of Fontaines D.C, Idles, Egyptian Blue, Yard Act and more.
