ABOUT THIS BAND
Picture Parlour - completed by vocalist Katherine Parlour, bassist Sian Lynch, guitarist Ella Risi and drummer Michael Nash - quickly became a word-of-mouth sensation following the release of their debut single ‘Norweigan Wood’ in June 2023.
Having received critical acclaim and support from the likes of The Sunday Times Culture (Breaking Act), The Guardian, The Independent, Evening Standard, Rolling Stone UK, CLASH, BBC Radio 6, BBC Radio 1 and more, the band have made a statement with their fusion of stadium rock and melancholic euphoria, capturing sounds that are itching to take up space.
The four-piece released their eagerly anticipated follow-up single ‘Judgement Day’ in October via Island Records - a ‘dramatic statement’ about ‘all-consuming love’- produced by multi-award-winning producer Catherine Marks. With continued support from BBC Radio 6, BBC Radio 1, NME, CLASH and more, the band show no signs of slowing down.
Having supported Bruce Springsteen, The Strokes, Noel Gallagher and The Last Dinner Party, the band will continue to grace stages across Europe, including SWN, London Calling, Mutations and Pitchfork festivals and a headline performance at The Victoria in Dalston on November 15th for The Great Escape’s First 50 event.
