Pedro Vian

Pedro Vian is a Spanish electronic musician and music producer, born in Barcelona (Catalonia), specializing in experimental music. He is also the founder of the record label Modern Obscure Music, which has released works by diverse artists, including Ryuichi Sakamoto, Nicolas Godin, and American composer Laurie Spiegel.

His music has received acclaim from international media outlets such as The Quietus and Pitchfork. In 2016, he released his debut album titled "Beautiful Things You Left Us for Memories," which was awarded as the best album of the year by DJMag magazine.

Pedro Vian has collaborated with other musicians and artists, including trumpeter Pierre Bastien, multi-instrumentalist Raül Refree, and Carla Pérez Vás, the singer of the band Mourn. He has also performed at various renowned festivals such as Sónar, Primavera Sound, and FiB, in addition to DJ performances in clubs around the world, with a particular focus on Japan, the United States, and Europe.

Furthermore, he is the co-author of the global and interdisciplinary project PRSNT. His work in experimental electronic music and collaborations with a variety of artists have established him as a significant figure in the contemporary music scene.
