London/Berlin duo Minimal Schlager return with their new single 'Forbidden Fruit,' the first single to be taken from their upcoming debut album 'Love, Sex & Dreams,' out on 9th September via Berlin's Duchess Box Records. Recorded at Berlin's Impression Studio by producer Robbie Moore (Andreya Casablanca, Florence and the Machine,) 'Forbidden Fruit' is synth heavy dreamy ear worm which wouldn't sound out of place in any David Lynch movie/ The pair had this to say on it:
"We wrote Forbidden Fruit after I finished reading Blood Wedding, Garcia Lorca's Greek tragedy, and I was amazed by the brutality and irrationality in passion. Forbidden Fruit is a song that has no time and space, it's a drama of human aspiration, struggle and ultimate failure."
The London/Berlin based brother/sister duo (Francisco and Alicia) released their debut EP 'Voodoo Eyes' in the spring of 2020 as Corona first started to take a grip on the world.
