Michael Georgian (born 199X) is an enigmatic figure who after playing in various London bands throughout his early years, struck out on his own. Entirely self-produced from the depths of South East London using an array of vintage synthesisers and drum machines, Georgians take on 90's Acid meets 80's Gothic Pop is made for the floor - and cemented by his televangelist preacher meets mental breakdown live show, which has made waves & cemented him as a cult figure within the undercurrent of the London live scene.
Debut single 'Televised', and its successors 'Suburbia' and 'Running' found support from the likes of The Needle Drop ("I Like This A Lot"), 6 Music’s Tom Ravenscroft ("A Joyous Piece"), and So Young magazine ("Gothic Pop, Acid-Tinged Goodness") Michael's single "Televised" also gained traction over the last two years, becoming a favorite at underground warehouse parties worldwide, with spins from DJs like CC DISCO, System Olympia, and Tia Cousins, reaching floors as far as São Paulo, Tokyo, and Lima.
Georgian, a South East London native, spent the past year locked in the studio whilst supporting a diverse range of artists, including Nation of Language, Sextile, George Clanton, Sorry and Nathan Fake. This eclectic mix of supports mirrors his own approach to sound. Throughout the year, Georgian immersed himself in self-producing his debut EP, Machine Music.
