ABOUT THIS ARTIST

Mia Maria Johansson is a musician who has been active in Sweden's underground music scene since the early 2000s. She first gained recognition as part of the indie/electro/punk band Meine Kleine Deutsche, where her raw and energetic vocal style, along with her intense stage presence, made a strong impression. With the critically acclaimed punk band Snake, she further established herself on the music scene.

After her solo debut "Slay" in 2021, MMJ released her second album "Luft" on June 8, 2023, on Lazy Octopus. For this album, she won the award for Rock of the Year at the Manifest Gala 2024.
