We've planed to release our new EP on the April 11th. It's the seventh in our ten years as a band. After +100 concerts through France, Canada, Belgium, Netherlands, Spain, one video for every song, it's the first one recorded with our new line-up. The EP is our usual sonic reflection, as we sharpen our pencils while listening to the world slipping on a banana peel. But this time, the sonic shift is sharp: the scream gives way to melody, experience finally makes room for experimentation, and the music is even more punk than before—without being quite as "punk." As a dude summed up after a gig : "Too punk for the masses and not punk enough for tough guys". A space we proudly occupy.
Softness and fierceness blend together, making this record irresistibly addictive, indulgent, and conceptual—there's something for everyone. And it's got that "come back for more" feeling. That's what we, the quartet, hope for.
It was recorded by Henri d'Armancourt (la Blogothèque, Shoefiti) at l’Échappée (Saint-Pierre-de-Bailleul), mastered by Will Kllingsworth at Dead Air, and will be released on the 11th of April.
