LOLA

After Lola released her first single, ‘I HOPE THE SKY IS GREY WHEN I WAKE UP’ in August last year, the band LOLA formed in January of 2024. Since then, the band have been picked up to play various shows from some of London’s most notable promoters and record labels. Highlights of such include various dates with Bad Vibrations, Flashback Records, I OH YOU (Australian label) and Panther Records. Upon hearing the band play, the photographer Santosh wrote, ‘Some people are so gifted. I enjoyed their sparse and minimal sound. Her first song is stuck in my head ever since I saw her play’. Other highlights have included radio plays on NTS by Flo Dill on her popular broadcast, ‘The NTS Breakfast Show w/Flo’ as well as playing alongside acts such as Sorry, Man/Woman/Chainsaw and ISLANDS. Plenty of new material is due for release alongside further dates at iconic venues such as The Windmill Brixton, The Crofters Rights, and Moth Club.
