Infusing elements of post-punk and industrial hip-hop, Protect The Brand is loosely based on David Fincher's Fight Club - a view of life through the lens of an overworked and underpaid office worker who is tasked with mind-numbing, repetitive jobs until he finally engineers his own sacking. The Worker stumbles through a crisis of realization, as he starts to question the purpose of work within a capitalist framework.

Recorded at Unwound Studios in Greenwich, debut EP “Your Anger Is Rational” will be a four-track EP to be released in May 2023, via Blaggers Records.

The EP showcases the band’s ability to paint poignant vignettes of society, to an exhilarating and eclectic soundtrack that steers effortlessly between influences such as LCD Soundsystem, The Fall, Death From Above 1979! and Dead Kennedys.

The surreal neo-noir artwork was conceived and designed by the band, as part of a set of themed digital art that is set to accompany the EP release.

Joshi says: "As a band we've always been fascinated by the ability to put forward messages through anonymous bodies.

Fascist systems tend to dehumanize and depersonalize their enemies, and so through this series of art we've tried to represent and empower these characters by reanimating them using bold themes.

It's particularly relevant as a POC rock band, because we exist in a scene that has tended to love POC punk music but failed to appreciate POC punk musicians."
