On “029”, Juice explores loss, seeking success against the odds, and cementing her position as a leader in her game. Inspired by multi-faceted rap greats YG, Vince Staples and Travis Scott, and in polymathic spirit, she is the executive creative mind of her project - a background in music technology, dance and photography, and an inherent desire to share her expansive creative vision, informs this holistic approach to her music. On the launch of her EP, Juice comments,

“‘029’ is the start of something. It’s a dialling code, but it’s also a shortened explanation of where I come from and why I do this. With this project I wanted to create an underlying theme of determination. Determination through doubt, determination to experience the highs, and determination to capture the rawness of real life. My favourite tracks are “No Chaser” and “Street Heir”; the beats are completely different but both manage to carry the same message - to have fun but work hard, to be humble and appreciate everything, to stand up for yourself and more importantly, always stand for something.”
