Jim Horde, otherwise known as THE BEER FED RODENT is a theatrical, bewildering and psychotic mesh of a spoken word poet, rapper and singer/songwriter based in Australia, (Melbourne). Jim Implements a wide range & contrast of hyper-active, shouty and melodic vocals in his projects while blending a mixture of alternative rock, post punk and experimental hip-hop. People frequently compare him sonically & aesthetically to the likes of Genesis Owusu, King Krule, Tyler the Creator, Gorillaz & Bakar.

Jim's primary focus is to convey personal yet relatable narratives, priding himself on his fiery passion for storytelling & world building. Each song acting as a empty canvas to paint new worlds or introduce a unique and disturbing character to the multiverse of the ever growing Jim Horde lore. He focuses on manipulation of smaller details to help convey a overly dramatic version of one or more of the following emotions, -katharsis -escapism -euphoria -alienation -mania -nostalgia.
