ABOUT THIS BAND

IRKED are a band from Tyne and Wear making snotty, noisy punk music.

Veterans of the underground-DIY scene - they formed in 2022 and are satisfying the demand for urgent, snarling, politically motivated music - served up with a salty dose of northern humour and sass.

Scaring audiences into submission, they have quickly gained attention around the UK as BBC Introducing 'Ones to Watch' 2024, opening for Big Joanie, Benefits, Hey Colossus and Part Chimp.
