Blake: “This song definitely took the longest to write, because we started with a guitar lick and a driving bass line and built upon it from over the course of a few demos. In the song, the listener is taken on a psychedelic journey with a lot of twists and turns. The song was continuing to be shaped lyrically and musically all the way up into the final studio session, but I can speak for both of us in saying that we’re very excited to release it.”
Stewart: “Like Blake said, the writing process started so simple and ended up being one our most extraordinary and intricate songs. We have a lot to say in this song and it touches on subjects of drug addiction, sobriety, and a life changing night under the influence of psychedelics. Life gets complicated sometimes especially with the pandemic still steadily looming over everyones life. Sometimes you just need to let go of everything and experience the venerability.”
