ABOUT THIS BAND

Cinematic post-rock trio GRANDCHILD make music fitting for apocalyptic times. Having appropriately released their debut EP, Pure Drone, at a time when the world was seemingly reaching its end, they have since begun disrupting the live circuit in their hometown of Bristol with their dynamic approach to melding distorted samples, cacophonous drums and sludgy noise rock guitars. With a handful of singles since then (‘Great Gama’, ’Semaphore’, ‘Shimmer’) that have captured the kinetic feel of their shows, the threesome have begun weaving in elements of the drones they were initially making between tracks, to give an ever-morphing feel to their sets.
