Malang, 4/3-2025 – God Save Ayesha, the powerhouse alternative-rock band known for their
high-energy performances and raw, authentic sound, is back with their latest single, superego,
set to release on February 28, 2025. This track delivers a fresh yet unmistakably God Save
Ayesha sound, blending soaring melodies, bold instrumentals, and evocative lyrics that
capture the endless hereditary chain of hate and love.
Superego is a testament to the band’s evolving artistry and a glimpse into their upcoming
album, slated for release later this year. “To me, the song completely captured of what it is to
face the dilemma of having to confront and ask responsibility to our loved ones.” says Nanda,
their lead guitarist.
The song explores on how we dealt after being hurt by our loved one, especially our own
parents who should be a prime figure of love in our lives and grant a safe space for their
children. And in effort to regain that trust and love that slowly fading away our guitarist Santo
comes up with the first draft of the lyrics for the song that later became what we now know as
superego.
Since the release of their maxi-single “٢/٢”, God Save Ayesha keeps on trying to perfect
their craft with their distinct sound and dynamic stage presence. Their ability to blend an
uplifting rock beat with a touch of melancholy has solidified them as a force in the
alternative-rock scene in Malang city.
