Felid (pronounced ‘fee-lid’ - meaning ‘wild cat’) is the pinnacle of Jay Rodger's sonic creativity to date. The South African-born singer/songwriter/producer, who's family moved to London during his early teens in a bid to start a new life, has been creating for the better part of a decade. Rodger's artistry, originally a form of escapism from a subsequently turbulent adolescence, began gaining public interest after he moved to Bristol, UK to study music production. During his time there he received streaming (10 million + worldwide) and live (including a Glastonbury performance) success through various collaborations. Now, stepping out from under the umbrella of these experiences, Rodger is determined to give back to the world of music what he feels he has been given.
