FIEP

FIEP writes captivating, distinctive indie pop anthems that are both outgoing and introspective. Veerle Suzanna Driessen’s songcraft has a distinct ear for great hooks, as well as a unique narrative quality; her music reveals inward thoughts as frequently as outward screams: the restlessness, the doubts, the musings, and – most of all – the dreams.

On stage, Veerle captures these dreams along with her band FIEP, creating an energetic, powerful, and outstanding live performance. After releasing their first single ‘Nightshop’ and performing as a support act for Wet Leg, FIEP was selected for Popronde 2022 as an OOR-talent. In January 2023, they were booked to play a show at Noorderslag, and in March, FIEP released their debut EP, '77 Stokes Croft', along with a release show at Paradiso, Amsterdam. During the summer of 2023, FIEP played multiple festival shows, including Paaspop, Bospop, and Into The Woods.
