LIVE FROM THE FUTURE (where developers are extinct, music venues stay open forever and community is king). This album is free / pay as you feel. It's a gift to commemorate an iconic venue and to celebrate the Naarm/Melbourne music community. Feel free to make it your own, dub tapes, press records, carve it in stone, send it to your local building developers, anything goes.
Recorded live at The Curtin on December 10, 2021 for the 'Remember The Future? Vol 2 & 1' record launch supported by Delivery and Muma Ganoush. This was our first full capacity/sold out show after almost 2 full years of lockdowns and restrictions. It is a small symbol of collective Joy! Growth! Adaptation! Resilience! And other vaguely hopeful catch-phrases, as the spin-cycle keeps tumbling forward.
Almost exactly a year into the future (present) we polished up these raw live recordings, and we come full circle to headline The Curtin (tomorrow), November 25, 2022.
Performed & recorded on the land of the Wurundjeri Woi-Wurrung people of the Kulin Nations. Sovereignty was never ceded, which means this remains Indigenous land, as it always was & always will be. We'd like to pay respect to elders past, present and future. "Australia" is an illegitimate nation.
