Over the course of the last decade, Diane Coffee, the stage name of musician, actor, and previous Foxygen drummer Shaun Fleming, has released three full length albums under the Diane Coffee moniker, including the project's debut release, My Friend Fish (2013), Everybody's A Good Dog (2015), and Internet Arms (2019). On the band's upcoming fourth full-length album, With People, Fleming hit the studio with former Foxygen bandmate and production wizard Jonathan Rado (Weyes Blood, The Killers), fleshing out what would become With People in a series of sessions that were quick and artistically productive, bringing new nuances out of these ten songs as they worked together. The result is an album that sounds warm and lived-in, like an old friend sharing stories close to them while sitting on a moonlit porch.
