DEFSET delves deep into his electro and techno roots to deliver his most accomplished work yet. 
 Cycles was written following a creatively barren period after his mother died. “I’m not a religious person, but losing someone you don’t know how to live without, forces you to think about the big questions. Who we are, where we go when we die. I became fixated about the brutal and unstoppable cycle of life. How our lives are just one tiny part and when that ends our energy, influence and love is left and keeps on turning. This is the theme of Cycles, sometimes dark, sometimes Melancholic and sometimes joyful.” 
 DEFSET explores modular synthesis, field recording, outboard fx, live instrumentation and creative sampling to create deeply immersive and evocative electronic music. 
 DEFSET can be heard DJing on his Mixcloud live show on Esc_ every Thursday @ 8pm and at shows and festivals throughout the year.
