Charles Watson is an English singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist most prominently known for forming the indie pop outfit with Rebecca Taylor. After a handful of smaller releases, the band found more widespread success with their 2011 LP, Paradise. Watson later went on to form the garage band .
Watson started in Sheffield in 2006 with the intent of combining elements of folk and '60s pop with indie rock and twee pop. The duo put out two 7" singles via in 2007 before following up with their debut EP, Let's Fall Back in Love in 2008, and first full-length Yeah, So? in 2009. Watson and returned with their sophomore effort, Paradise, in 2011 and followed with three more releases. In 2017, he joined , a garage rock band that also featured members of .
