Introducing Buckets: The 4-piece indie-punk outfit hailing from Los Angeles, California. The quartet is comprised of seasoned players, including members and ex-members of bands like Follies & Vices, Pastilla, Dei Lucrii, and many more. Tanner Houghton’s unvarnished and outspoken vocal style, paired with Sasha Massey’s bright, riff-driven guitar playing allows the rhythm section (held down by Hiram Sevilla on drums and Mitch Rossiter on bass) to fully explore the dynamic extremes that encompass the band’s new take on the indie genre. The emotional and energetic performances of Buckets leave the band in a league of their own, and is sure to catch the attention of any and all onlookers.

Their self-titled, debut LP was released in April 2021 via Broom Closet Records, and received heavy critical acclaim. Filled to the brim with bright, infectious guitar tones, multi-dimensional structures, and catchy hooks, the self-produced and mostly self-recorded stellar album was over a year in the making. Between several professional studios, apartment setups, and ultimately quarantined-style settings due to the pandemic, the collection of 9 tracks provides a powerful exemplification of Buckets’ intimate yet explosive sound.
