ABOUT THIS BAND

Prescribed marks the debut single from Hastings-based three piece, Borough Council. Brothers, Haydn and Joe Ackerley, and long-time friend Tom Healey have built and teased a cult following in Hastings, with their frenetic live performances, and very little released music, outside demos, and side projects.

Prescribed was written by Haydn and the band at the Bath House Studio, Sydenham; an old victorian bath house once, ironically, owned by Lewisham borough council. It was recorded, mixed and mastered by the third Ackerley brother, producer, George Ackerley, who runs Bath House Records, home to artists Kid Cruise, JJ Sterry & Simmy.
