The song Missionary Ridge is inspired by the pure nostalgic feeling I get when I think about visiting my grandparents in Chattanooga. I have some very formative memories there but also can remember so many mundane details. This song celebrates them all equally. In the moment, sometimes small details don’t seem to matter, but later in life you realize they were so essential to a feeling that eventually becomes nostalgia itself.
