Green Star, the London-based shoegaze band, is set to release their debut single, "Blades of Steel."

The song explores the release and liberation of personal worries and anxieties, symbolised by blades of steel that bleed swirls of feedback. It exists within an eclectic soundscape that mixes the contrasts of nostalgia, desperation, and frustration.

The band's recording approach blended high-end sounds with lo-fi textures. The track was recorded at FuzzyBrain Studios, with Dylan Gilchrist and Alberto de Torre as producers, who balanced digital precision and analog warmth.

This track is the first release from the band's debut EP, set to drop in September 2024, that will be accompanied by a creative campaign in collaboration with various artists from the East London scene.
