hello! another year gone by, i'm currently in quarantine having recently caught covid which really sucks - i hope you're all well and you can all have a nice winter break despite the world situation.

i'd roughly break this album into 3 types of songs:

1. i bought a piano off gumtree this summer and so it's been me working out how to write with it and use it in my music

2. quite typical indie rock tunes - real life is a song that me and ben clifford wrote in 2016 and we include in the LWEC live sets. it finally gets a band arrangement here

3. Ryuichi Sakamoto/ Will Powers-ish synth instrumentals

it's a bit of a departure from the last album which was all acoustic so i'm hoping that some of you can still get something from it.

2 upcoming things for next year:

- gonna be working on a filmed live performance / sketch show for LWEC and porch culture which i'll start work on in the new year

- gonna work on an entirely new set for LWEC shows next year. hope that we can still play gigs
