Bank Account is the first single from Dirty Dishes and the West Wing, and is a classic
example of what they are all about. A searing journey led by thumping drum and bass,
drives the song on. Imploding, pedal-heavy guitars and syncopated rhythms bring
feelings of anxiety and paranoia. With jackhammers emulated by guitars and sirens by the
theremin, the cityscape sets the scene for this disorderly tale. Rich with sonic textures
and sharp lyricism that evokes strong imagery, Bank Account will be released on 21st of
November 2024.
Slightly Dishevelled have played the Dublin circuit extensively, honing in on their extravagant,
confident and tight performances. The band have played notable support slots with Singular
Artists, including New Pagans(NI) and Onion Boys(IRE). The 5-piece played on The Village Hall
stage at Electric Picnic in 2023, and that Halloween they played with Adore(IRE) and Lord Friday
the 13th(US), along with a headline show in “that social centre" (since evicted) on Halloween
night. Starting off 2024 by supporting Nerves(IRE) on New Years Eve, they played at Whelan's
Ones To Watch festival in January. They later supported Shark School(IRE) in Whelan's and played
a headline show in the main room in summer. The band moved on to fundraiser gigs for Palestine
and mental health charities throughout the year, a highlight being a fundraiser for "that social
centre "with The Deadlians(IRE).

“At first impressions ‘Molasses pt ii’ is a 20 minute piece from the minds of the
Dublin punk band Slightly Dishevelled which is at once, a Fringe Festival play, a
demo tape recording, spoken word, post-punk journey” -Niallar9
"The song's blaring guitars and a rhythm that makes you want to move are
reminiscent of the '80s punk scene. With improvised noise sections the band wants
the song to emulate the movement of being on the run. "- Arron Hoffman on Hot
