"Mary and I have known each other for a long time from the noise scene in New Orleans and have shared bills in the city as well as the International Noise Conference in Miami. Our collaboration came about when I was trying to find a way to play the studio based songs of "Non-Stop Healing Frequency" in a live setting. Haunted Hearts was the first new song written for these performances."

Ruth Mascelli is perhaps best known for the electronic textures and rhythmic backbone they contribute to no wave/glam/industrial group Special Interest. As a solo artist, they have released a number of tapes as Psychic Hotline, before making their debut under their own name with the album A Night At The Baths on Disciples in 2021, followed by sophomore collection Non-Stop Healing Frequency in 2023.
