Marking the announcement of in-store shows and a nationwide headline tour this September, Brighton Psych-Garage trio Oral Habit share details of debut EP Garage Frock! - due 11th July - and share the churning frenzies of its title track - out today (20th May)

Keeping true to the band’s uncompromising embrace of high-spirited volume, the band’s latest single continues down the lysergic, ear-bending trail blazed by March offering ‘Sauerkraut’. Channeling the zero-inhibition, noise-rattling rock freedoms of an Osees or Jack White, ‘Garage Frock’ also offers the title track from the upcoming EP, due for release on 7” Vinyl alongside a limited cassette run via cult Manchester label/promoter Sour Grapes (Wax Head, SLAP RASH, YAANG). 

Offering more on the single, Vocalist/Guitarist Charlie Hales simply says: ""An instinctual shriek into the abyss, throttling our instruments until they leak with feedback. Flailing over organ keys whilst the pounding floor tom ties us back to the final cry, ‘was it all for free?’.

Marking the news of their most comprehensive set of headline shows to date, the band continue the work laid by extensive gigging in London and Brighton and early singles released on Big Richard Records (Man/Woman/Chainsaw, something in the lake). Winning tastemaker support from BBC Radio 6Music (Deb Grant), Radio X (John Kennedy), Rough Trade Counter Culture, Still Listening and Hard of Hearing, the trio have also enjoyed shows with C Turtle and Plantoid.
