King Viktor returns with dreamy shoegaze gem ‘Soon Enough’

For all the masterpieces Slowdive have written, this is one they forgot to make. Lusciously ethereal, ‘Soon Enough’, King Viktor's newest single, pairs spangly guitars and warm, slow drumming to wrap lyrics of personal loss in a soothing embrace – a tender reflection on love's comfort, even when it can't bring people back.

The dreamy vocals come from by Tom Stokx, guitarist of The Haunted Youth, and label mate Elena Lacroix, frontwoman of shoegaze rising stars Eosine.

Eosine toured with labelmates Meltheads at the end of last year. They will soon hit the road again for a series of European concerts. King Viktor, until now strictly a studio project, will soon be performing live for the first time. More news to follow on both projects.
