Making Max Heart was like carefully baking a layer cake over many many months. When I listen back I always find more things to notice. I love all the ways the wave forms collide differently through different sound systems & headphones. It’s a nutrient-dense treat, and it stands on its own even without the vocals (which were admittedly a treat to create as well, so check out the original masters too, of course!). From Ten Flowers, a solo debut to Max Heart, a group labor of love - I cherish how this process helped us gel as a band and cultivate our unified groove. I hope people find their way back to this album again and again, and I hope these instrumental tracks provide folks with new ways to be inside Max Heart.
