Andrea Calvo (aka Grand Drifter) feels so right. Right in the way that every lyric seems to fit, every note has a perfectly meticulous place, even his musical pauses seem imbued with absolute meaning.
"Paradise Window" is his third album (the second with our Subjangle label) and continues his juxtaposition of Sarah Records style jangly indie-pop, sophisti-pop and almost Burt Bacharach style melodic intent and is arguably his finest work yet.
Meticulous to a buffered sheen Grand Drifter is always destined to be the intellectuals choice of indie-pop.
