After their acclaimed self titled debut album the trio CHIVVY became a duo. But they still create a large and evocative soundscape with atmospheric guitars, synths and dreamy vocals. The music is often compared to bands such as Warpaint, Beach House, Cocteau Twins and Massive Attack. Last year they released their debut album which was praised by both Swedish and international press and received, among other things, 5 stars by GAFFA and was classified as one of Sweden's best albums of 2021 by HYMN. In 2022, CHIVVY was nominated for the GAFFA prize and the Manifest Awards.
Their new EP 'XVI' is produced by the band and Daniel 'Fagge' Fagerström who have worked with the likes of Viagra Boys, Nina Kinert, Jenny Wilson amongst many other. Together they have created a slightly more electronic sound but without loosing the dreamy atmospherics.
