Breeze’s new album, “Sour Grapes,” delves into the complexities of human relationships and builds upon the 90s-inspired sound of their 2021 album "Only Up," which received critical acclaim from the likes of CBC Music, Stereogum, and NPR. Originally a solo project led by Toronto-based producer Josh Korody (known for his work with Tess Parks, Dilly Dally, Fucked Up, Weaves, Dirty Nil, Beliefs), Breeze has since evolved into a full band following their debut performance for KEXP Live At Home Session. The new wave - britpop inspired album was recorded by Korody at his Candle Recording studio, at Hotel 2 Tango with Shae Brossard, and mastered by Mark Gardiner of RIDE. “Sour Grapes” is an exciting direction for this anticipated full-length and full band follow up.
