Peacefully (Overhead) is a sombre reflection on the deterioration of relationship; the struggle between two personalities both deserved of ambiguous sympathy. Within the building soundscape of the track, disorientation push and pulls the listener, held true by the pulsing drum beat that encompasses the track. Instrumentation builds and builds through the first half of the song (including piano and violin from producers Louis O’Hara and Lewis Spampinato), creating a shoegaze ambience that is only shut down by the latter half of the track. Bible Club showcase their signature approach to transitioning sections with an abrupt halt into another moody soundscape, this time darker and disparate. Perspective of the other half comes through in this section, blurring the lines on who has done wrong; who is to blame.
