Alina Valentina’s second synthwave album ‘Life is like a fairytale’ is an eight-track journey through a fantastical land of wonder; starring heavy synth leads, arps and vocal harmonies. Whereas her first album ‘Works and Days’ leaned towards the haunting, inspired by horror, sci-fi and film noir, her second album tilts toward the more fantastical and light, while at the same time maintaining a brooding atmosphere.

Continuing the vibrant resonance of ‘True Romance’ from her previous album, Alina wrote her second album from a more personal perspective. With ‘Life is like a fairytale’ she overcomes life through sugarcoating the angsty process of becoming adult by creating a dark fantasy world.
