London-based Spanish musician Alien Tango (real name Alberto García) has announced the release of his debut album 'Kinda Happy, Kinda Sad' on 12th May via Ground Control/ Republic of Music.
Today, Alien Tango releases new single 'B.F.F.', an ode to friendship and love, a disco tune with a catchy mantra chanted over stroboscopic synths and orchestral hits.

Alberto took around a year and a half to write and record 'Kinda Happy, Kinda Sad' by himself in his bedroom. It's pretty much a lockdown journal, and it's the product of his borderline obsession with constantly writing music and his personal long journey of self-teaching and discovery. The result, in Alberto's words "might be the musical equivalent of a toddler trying to 3D-render Picasso’s Guernica".
Alien Tango is Alberto García, an artist from Spain who lives in London but whose antennas are directed to outer space, from where he receives emissions full of psychedelia, glam, hip-hop, oriental music and helium-infected vocals. Praised by the New York Times after his performance at SxSW festival (he’s also performed at Primavera Sound and Benicàssim, among others), his musical mixture is as unpredictable as it is satisfying, with room for synthesizers, sitars, accordions and anime samples. All of which confirm this unorthodox multi-instrumentalist as one of the most peculiar and fascinating creators in the current London scene. Recently, he started a TikTok profile which exploded very quickly, reaching over 4M views and 50k+ followers in the space of a few months.
